Sure I don’t see why not as long as you don’t have symptoms of nausea
there’s no medical reason why you shouldn’t but personally i would not have wanted to- you are contemplating a big journey- i suggest that you listen to your body and rest when you need to
If you’re healthy theres no reason why you cant travel anywhere. Just avoid getting stressed out, make sure you drink pleanty of fluids, that you avoid foods that may cause sickness (every country has different bacteria in the foods, we get sick when we go abroad because we’re only used to our bacterias). Take time to rest, wear good shoes, and if you do start to feel like something is wrong, see a doctor and take a day to rest at the hotel.
Theres absolutely no reason why you cant travel as usual when pregnant. Just use common sense and dont lift things, go too long without resting, or become stressed out.
I just got back from a 9 day trip to the mid west from new york, 1700 miles each way by car with no air conditioning during the worst heat wave this country has seen in decades. I was 4 months pregnant.
It was miserable, but we survived
Go ahead,God will take care of you!
they say the best time to travel is your second trimester….just get up and walk around every hour while on the plane, take breaks if you have been on your feet and you should be fine. HAVE FUN!! and congrats!!!
I flew from WA to Fla when I was 8 months pregnant, and I took my almost 2-year-old son with me. Just remember to not sit for too long, get up and walk to the bathroom and back often. My trip was just fine, except for a little jet lag. But go, have fun!
You should be fine at 22 weeks as you are in your second trimester which is apparently the best time to travel. I am sure you will be fine. I will be traveling in my 31st week from Jamaica to deliver in Holland (13 hour flight) and my gyno says it will be fine as I’m having a non complicated pregnancy.
Good luck
This is the perfect time for you to be travelling. You still have the ease of travelling without children, and you should be at the peak of feeling good during your pregnancy. Make sure you take time to get up and move around every 2 hours or so on the plane and on the train and try to rest when you can. Otherwise, enjoy this vacation! Once the baby is born, such travelling will require much more work in either finding someone to watch your child or keeping him or her entertained and on a good nap schedule while on vacation.
I did, it was exhausting…but so much fun. As long as you doctor says your okay then go right ahead! You’ll know when you need a break. Just take it easy and to keep from too much stress plan everything. I mean…have something to do everyday and stick to your plans. Book hotels ahead of time, make sure any attractions you want to go to will be open, and buy everything you’ll need before you head out. Make sure you stay hydrated too! Have a great time!
All pregnancies are different . If you are not overweight and the Dr. says ok , you should go and have fun cause when the baby comes things will never be the same . Best wishes to you and your baby .
