Which is the best vegetarian restaurant in London?
I do not meant “vegetarian-friendly” where they hope for as good as offer non-veg meals as well. I’m seeking for the correct vegetarian eaterie for lunches as good as dinners.

The one where you don’t eat.
I’ve never actually been to London, but try the link below.
And I just love it when stupid people (read: the first two answerers) talk.
I went to London a few summers ago and ate at some fabulous vegetarian places. My favorites were World Food Cafe in Neal’s Yark and The Place Below. The latter is additionally cool, not only because of the great food, but because it’s actually in an old church’s crypt, in St. Mary-le-Bow church. Both these places are 100% vegetarian.
Most of the other restaurants I ate at were not pure vegetarian, but London is surprisingly vegetarian-friendly. Even the pubs have great veg food. Enjoy!
You’ll find loads of veggie places if you walk around Soho and central london. The Thai places and other asian restaurants are the best!
depeds what you fancy and what area of London. In the south west I would recommend Whole food in Streatham, which does a fantastic homity pie and amazing side salads, or in Tooting Kastoori, an indian restaurant which is all vegetarian.
“Food for Thoughts” in Covent Garden. It’s famous.
I hope this helps; it classifies restaurants into fully vegetarian, vegan, and veggie-friendly:
Mantra is fully vegetarian, and has many good reviews.
Good luck!
Mildreds is pretty awesome (Soho)
Also The Gate (Hammersmith) although I haven’t been there for a few years because it’s a little out of the way of central London.
Also Wagamama’s (although they do serve meat too) also have a lot of vegetarian choices so it’s always worth a look there unless you are really adamant that you don’t want to be in a non-veg place.
Mr Man in Edgware. Fully Veg, 99% Vegan restaurant.
sorry i’m from rome (italy)
