If you are visiting Edinburgh on a budget, our family run enterprise is very central and our rates very competitive. Have a look for yourself at http://www.heraldhousehotel.co.uk/tariffs.htm

If you are travelling around Scotland, a short stay in Pitlochry, Perthshire is ideal as it breaks the journey, the scenery is fantastic and Hotels in Pitlochry offer the best in Scottish facilities, food and local produce to give anyone a lasting flavour of Scotland.

If it's scenery you want, Speyside is a good centre. It's adjacent to the Cairngorms, not far from Inverness and Loch Ness - and you can extend this to a circular day's drive via Spean Bridge and Loch Laggan.
Hilton Hotel Coylumbridge sometimes offers good-value short breaks.
