Victoria & Albert, The Design Council and have a look in RIBA’s library. All very good. Don’t miss the Westminster reference library just off Leicester Square either.
I agree with CyberC… The V&A is Britain’s national design museum, and it was set up for that reason and is a public organisation. The Design Museum near Tower Bridge is also worth a visit, but it’s quite expensive to visit the exhibitions.
