The hell with that. I live a mere half kilometer from the theater. I’ll make mutton!

There are many restaurants very close by.
    Tiger Tiger
    Woodland, Piccadilly
    Strada, Panton Street
    Stockpot
As a londoner I recommend you do not try the Steak House restaurant.

It depends on your budget and preferred cuisine type. Definitely search toptable.co.uk for special offers etc. You might also consider:

Ristorante Semplice – (not cheap, but wonderful Italian food)

Patara (Maddox Street branch, very good Thai food)

Joy King Lau – (very close to the theatre, excellent dimsum!)

If you like tapas, you will love Barrafina:

    Or Tierra Brindisa:

Chowki – (cheap but good Indian food)

For reasonable French food, try Cote:

Or the new-ish Prix Fixe Brasserie:

Have a nice evening, wherever you end up :)

Depends how nice a restaurant your after. If it’s the theatre and your going to make a special night of it, try the Criterion in Piccadilly Circus, you won’t regret it.

If you’re in the mood for Japanesse, go for Cocoon. The food in there is also fantastic.

Someone has already mentioned Med Kitchen, but it is good. Not in the league of the other two I mentioned but very nice. If you pick any of these three you’ll be happy I’ve eaten at them all.

    Enjoy your night out.
