Londoners. How do u get to thorpe park from central london by public transport?

I was told u can go from waterloo station, is this scold ?…And how prolonged does a tour take?

Waterloo east To staines then take the bus on the right side of the bridge to thorpe park

then get the 451or446 bus to thorpe park
