Is Piccadilly shopping area in london too high end? Would there be a map of shops somewhere?
This is my initial revisit to london. Is there anything specific we should check out in Piccadilly, London?

Just go and explore…there many things to see and it really depends on your interests.Go with an open mind and enjoy yourself.
Piccadilly isn’t an area its a road and large road junction known as Piccadilly circus.
yeah the street is very upmarket
the district of mayfair to the north and the royal district of st Jame’s to the South (2 of the worlds most exclusive inner city areas)
it contains many high end jewelery retailers and other expensive shops.
also it contains high end supermarkets such as fortnum and mason which his where the queen buys all her groceries.
View the sights but don’t buy – 99.9% of central London is rip off land!
Oxford Street nearby has several different types of shops at all different price points. From Piccadilly Circus, take a very cool walk along Regent Street (which has lots of shops too) or take the tube one stop from Piccadilly to Oxford Circus and follow the crowds. If you are American note that the pound is expensive right now, so only buy what you can’t get here. Have fun!
Yes it is very high end. I have seen some maps giving the locations of stores in Piccadilly in a site called exploringmonkey.com. I liked it since the location of each store and a little description of the available merchandise is given here. The best thing is however is the map – its like a “shopping in Piccadilly map” ! Its given segment wise – St. James’s to Arlington, Burlington Arcade etc.
