Im looking for a honeymoon location in England thats not an expensive hotel, any suggestions?
My partner doesnt similar to to fly, so you need somewhere in england or wales. Scotland is as well distant though flying. Do you have any suggestions may be somewhere you yourself have been? you have attempted hoseasons for lodge holidays, as well as legal holiday parks, though they have been so costly only for a single week, you even looked during starting to centre parcs though it was approach as well expensive.
Please help!

you could go somewhere in london because then you have lots of things to do together and nice restaurants but it can get busy there.
depends if you want a flat or an actual house

Hello Congrats on the wedding
This place is very good. I have stayed there twice. It is 2 miles from the City Centre of Bristol. There is loads to do in Bristol.
The Guy that owns the place is also a Taxi driver and offers good deals for people staying at his place.
Well worth a look.
Try looking at some of the B&Bs. My husband used to travel around Britain quite a lot and hated staying in hotels. Some of the B&Bs were wonderful with four poster beds, surround sound stereos, wetrooms etc. We also stayed in one recently near Stafford that was a log cabin. Really beautiful views and very romantic.
Check this link for where you would like to stay.
Depends where you are to start with. I love the Isle of Wight or Cornwall. If it’s your honeymoon just a get a good room!!!! With room service.
If your not necessarily looking for a fancy hotel, then how about this little guest house?
This is in Windermere in The Lake District. Its a cosy little house, with a really friendly atmosphere, its tucked away from the town, but within easy walking distance of all the bars, restaurants etc. Reasonably priced too. Ask for a room overlooking the lake!!
Congratulations Too!!!!
The Lake District is beautiful, especially for honeymoons (congrats btw!!), as is the Peak District. Any places that are pretty, so any area of oustanding beauty, hills, lakes, beaches etc are perfect for honeymoons as they just make you think how beautiful and lovely everything is! I think the Lake District is not too bad for inexpensive accommodation, as long as its not peak season.
I dont know what you like though, you may hate scenery and prefer cityscapes! in which case a city break would probably be preferable lol, so i would advise somewhere with a sense of history and interest, like york or bath, to make that honeymoon perfect! you could use the infamous bath spa in bath too (just a random thought that popped into my head!). it may work out cheaper to stay in a surrounding village though, rather than the city centre.
search B&Bs, cottages or budget hotels on the AA website, they give you a good idea on quality and price etc. Travelsupermarket is another good site. There are lots of deals around, too, so it is worth researching a bit – places like teletext and local newspapers often offer holidays cheaply. you can always collect those vouchers from walkers crisps if you’re desperate!
I don’t know where you’re from, but you could always take the ferry somewhere, eg to the Isle Of Man or France or Amsterdam etc if you’re already bored with the idea of a British honeymoon.
above all, just enjoy it! whether you end up in a tent in the middle of nowhere or a family-run hotel in cardiff, you’ll be together and thats whats most important!!
PS i’m very tired and apologise for rambling
I look after a gorgeous little romantic cottage in Polruan, Cornwall I have supplied a link, have a look at the “guided tour” facilities in the link.
Polruan is the perfect venue for a romantic honeymoon, as it’s quaint, “oldy worldy” and is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, and coastline. It’s also not comercialised, or too “touristy” I have provided another link describing the local area.=&complexId=
For somewhere even more remote, yet near to gorgeous Cornish resorts, I have had many relatives stay at this gorgeous farmhouse B&B. It’s not bad rates, for the welcome, and service you receive, and the nearby deserted beach (Lansallos) is to die for.
It’s a shame I do not own the cottage in Polruan, as I would certainly have let you have it cheaper, but I am only a caretaker, so don’t have a say. Have a great wedding, day anyway!!! P.S. you don’t say when your wedding is???
I have just found a few cottages in Polruan, that are run by POLRUAN COTTAGES, that can be found on the left hand side of the link I have posted of Polruan and area’s around.
These cottages are all well known to me, and are really lovely, and are all under, or around £300 for a week in JULY!!! (that’s really cheap!!!) the cottages are called……..
Castle cottage
no2 Fowey view
Rock bottom
Storkings
Port watch
Midships.
Click on the first link I have given you, and have a look at these cottages in detail. they are lovely, and cheap.
