Trains from Luton to London St Pancras are frequent and the journey takes about 33 minutes.
A weekly Season ticket costs £80.60, but if you are travelling outside weekday rush hours buying an Off Peak Day Return or a One Day Travelcard will be cheaper. The price of a One Day Travelcard includes a days travel on the London Underground/bus/tram/DLR system as well as a return ticket to London http://www.nationalrail.co.uk

    well i went to
    http://www.raileurope.com/train-faq/european-trains/british-trains/how-to-book.html?from0=LUTON&to0=LONDON&WT.mc_id=google.British+Routes+Broad+-+G.cpc&WT.term=luton+to+london&WT.campaign=2099&WT.source=google&WT.medium=cpc&WT.content=607977495&cshift_ck=2071143193cs607977495&WT.srch=1
and typed in that you’d leave any time from 12am to 12pm and return any time between 6pm and 12am. i also said it was just one adult and no kids; and the random day i chose was 9/20/10 (leave from Luton to London, and then leave from London to Luton on the same day)

i got that it would cost $21 dollars (13.46 pounds) there and $21 dollors (again,13.46 pounds) back, and that it takes anywhere from 23 to 27 minutes

if you want different or more info. check out the site and select the options that fit your situation best.

    good luck.
