@Nottell, your incorrect on the prices there: a bus journey is £1.20 now not £1 (and that is for ALL of london. They did away with the inner/outer london prices a few years ago now) That is on Oyster pay as you go for EACH bus you take, so if you get off after only 1 stop and jump on another bus that will be another £1.20.
It will cap at something like £3.50. CASH fares are £2.00 per bus journey.
IF your journey is £3.50 a day your better off getting a monthly travel card because you actually save money.

It does depend on how many days a week your using the bus AND how many journeys as it may be worth not getting a bus pass at all which is what Nottell was getting at. BUT generally speaking at £68 something a month your getting your monies worth and don’t have to worry about those extra bus uses.

You find fares via the ‘tickets’ tab on the home page of the TFL site.

Monthly bus pass costs £63.80 for an adult

You’d probably be better getting an oyster card they cost £3 at any bus, train or subway station and you can load them up with as much money as you like. All bus journeys are £1 each within the city centre and you only pay for the trips you use any unused amount remains as credit on your card and can be reclaimed. This way you are not paying out a set fee of say £65 for a monthly ticket when your journeys may only cost £30.

The problem is that we don’t know what zones you are travelling from, and if you are using BUS and train or just bus?

Try this sthat shows you the cost of travel cards depending on which zones you would be using.
    http://www.londontoolkit.com/briefing/underground.htm.

    For buses only then
    All London £16.60 Weekly, £63.80 monthly , £664.00 Annually.

    Good luck

Use an oyster card, much cheaper – almost half the price of travel cards/bus passes and pay as you go so you don’t overpay.
