I don’t know which part of Enfield you’re starting from; you need to get to Waterloo Station. So lets assume you’re starting at Enfield Town. Get the train into Liverpool Street; then the Underground to Waterloo (Change at Bank); then an SWT train to Staines and a 950 bus from outside Staines Station to Thorpe Park. If you’re starting from a national rail station you should be able to buy an inclusive ticket including train/bus and Thorpe Park admission. http://www.nationalrail.co.uk
fly !!
North London is a pretty large area which will cover hundreds of stations and bus routes. Whereabouts in North London are you traveling from? I can’t say I am at all surprised with the amount of changes you need, but without knowing exactly where you are coming from then we can’t really tell what you need to do and exactly how long it will take.
I personally drive when it comes to going to Thorpe Park and it takes about 45 minutes from Beckenham.
Not sure exactly where you are starting from but yes it is a pain by public transport. Journey time will be about 2 hours.
if you are using Using GPS? Use KT16 8PN to find it.. THORPE PARK is within easy reach of London. From the M25 take junctions 11 or 13* and follow A320 to THORPE PARK.

Okay I don’t which station to Enfield (postcodes EN1 – 3 or the borough) you’re from.
Here goes:
1) From Enfield Lock, Brimsdown or Ponders’ End
Take the train to TOTTENHAM HALE and then take a southbound Victoria Line to Vauxhall.
2) From Turkey Street, Southbury, Bush Hill Park, Enfield Town (or indeed Edmonton Green or Silver Street)
Take the train to SEVEN SISTERS and then take a southbound (plat 5) Victoria Line to Vauxhall.
3) From Crews Hill, Gordon Hill, Enfield Chase (also Grange Park, Winchmore Hill, Palmers Green and New Southgate)
Take the train to either:
3a) HIGHBURY & ISLINGTON (Mondays – Fridays) and make the cross platform connection for a southbound Victoria Line to Vauxhall.
3b) or FINSBURY PARK (other times) and change for a southbound Victoria Line to Vauxhall.
4) From Cockfosters, Oakwood, Southgate, Arnos Grove (Wood Green or Turnpike Lane if you’re getting there by bus).
Take a Piccadilly Line to Finsbury Park and make the cross plaform change for the Victoria to (guess where?).
From Vauxhall (with the four options) take a SouthWest Train to STAINES from platforms 3 or 4.
From Staines take a 950 bus (outside the main entrance) to the theme park.
N.B both Staines and Thorpe Park are BOTH outside the Travelcard zones.
