I wish a governmetnt to begin charging kids for their ride so that you do not have to compensate so much.
Shelley: Thats all good, though I’ll get where we need to in about 2 – 4 days if we do that.
No. we did not know that Buddha’s Brother. It seems that each time we listen to a change, it’s for a worse. we am a user of a Metropolitan, Jubilee as well as East London Line as well as infrequently Bakerloo as well as Piccadilly Line. East London Line they have close down a couple of weeks ago as well as given afterwards we have been pissed off. we had dual choices, possibly to make make make use of of of an additional sight from London Bridge (which will price some-more since we can’t make make make use of of of a Oyster card) or make make make use of of of a Replacement Bus Service from Canada Water (which is so damn crap as well as slow!!).
YES YES YES YES YES!!!!
And did you know that the ticket booths will not be selling tickets any more??? They will only be for the purposes of enquiries….which means that sooner or later all Londoners will HAVE TO use an oyster….
Gosh..thanks for asking this question…anyone who doesn’t have to use the Jubilee line – please thank God
LOL! You obviously have not lived in very many different places. You can do a lot, Lot, LOT worse than London.
In London, I feel its best just to walk around the city. Trying to get anywhere in a quick time is like MI. The roads are crowded and jam packed full of buses and taxis and all sorts of traffic. It’s also very expensive to say they don’t actually get you anywhere in the end. I most definitely agree with you. When I went there, I just walked around everywhere, it was much easier.
get the government to increase your taxes and decrease the drivers income then to pay for better public transport
I live outside London, and TFL, has taken over the 370 Bus Route from Romford to Lakeside/ Thurrock, so if you have a freedom pass, you can travel free to Lakeside/ Thurrock, up to about 6 months ago, you could only use your freedom pass to North Ockendon.
this is where some of TFL money is going.
all the buses are now red, and the bus stop
have changed from White signs 9the colour of our local council) to red and white of TFL.
you use to be able to get a return to Romford from here, and save about 45%, now TFL has taken over , you can’t buy a return, and the fares have gone up by 20p for a single journey
So not only the people being ripped of by TFL, so are the people of Thurrock
We are the most expensive in Europe and have the worst service along with it.Just been trying to find out if we over take Japan’s fares.Anybody know??
We all know we’re being ripped off but what alternatives have we got-coaches are pretty booked up these days cos they’re a much cheaper alternative. Do what I’m doing and emigrate!
I don’t live in London, but in Seattle. And the transport services here are crap, too. So yes, I feel ripped off as well, nearly halfway around the planet from you.
Koombayah.
