Hi.
The Strand Palace Hotel is pretty nice, central and affordable. There is also a large database on the VisitBritain website (formerly the British Tourist Board) of thousands of properties all which have been inspected and rated. You can sort through them by either rating or price.

We stayed in Euston…Is that any good?
If yes, we stayed at the MIC in Euston. We booked it through a company called Superbreak.
Look around their site and you’ll find some FAB deals, Including free nights and money savers.
The MIC- A wonderful, comfortable and easily accessable hotel. We couldn’t fault them.
