Big pendulum clock in a London museum?
When we was a child, we visited a London notable relic that had a vast open time resource upon arrangement with a outrageous pendulum that swung by a hole cut in a floor. Does any one else recollect saying this exhibit? we would adore to uncover it to my kids right away though can’t recollect that notable relic it was in.

I think Ragwort is right. However, the original pendulum was replaced in 1988. The new one does not need to be re-swung on the hour, which is apparently why they changed it, it also has a new location within the museum. I preferred the original which was over 100 years old.
I am sure the new one will still fascinate your kids but you may feel a bit let down as I did when I first saw the new model.
There are some photos of both at http://www.scienceandsociety.co.uk/results.asp?X9=Educational%20Demonstration,%20Foucault%20Pendulum
I believe you are referring to Foucaults pendulum which swings from the vaulted ceiling to the floor in the Science museum at South Kensington, London
