Do I need a car in London?

London Car Parking
I’m formulation upon roving to London, do we need to lease the car, or should we only make use of open travel whilst I’m in London? Even if we did lease the car, would there be accessible parking during hotels, or is it unfit to find?
I only longed for to add, I’m starting to have the 2 year aged with me.. is open travel protected there?

I’ve never been but my brother travels there frequently and uses public transportation. Less headache and frees him up to see more places in London. He likes the public transportation there.

Be safe and have fun!!

You absolutely DO NOT need to rent a car in London!
The public transportation is great and will get you anywhere
you want to go, plus it’s cheap. Traffic is a nightmare anyway!
So is parking. Plus the driving on the other side of the
road would drive me crazy. And gas costs about twice as
much as here anyway…

Public transportation is totally safe and probably an easier choice if you have a two year old. You will probably find parking by the hotel, but I don’t remember much parking anywhere else. If you are nervous about using public transportation, think about an organized tour.

You do not need a car inside London at all. The public transport is great and underground is very efficient. Parking and driving is very expensive here. I also have 2 kids and it is perfectly safe. Although not all the underground stations are stroller/wheelchair accessible.

Learn to use the Tube, and you will own the city! A car would be foolish to have there.
